Considering it is a hostel it was great value for money. The room was really clean, and there were lots of nice touches like maps to pick up, a free bar of soap with towels and someone even wrote the days weather with temperature on the chalk board.
I would say the only problem with the hostel is location. It is actually in a great location for day activities like the palace and shrine etc. but it was a little bit far out from places with a lively night life. There weren't any late night bars there either. However, if this isn't an issue with you then you shouldn't have any problems

the welcoming staff
The noise from the rear street, dogs and people. People talking loudly in the corridors at 6am Sunday morning. It is a pity that the noise spoils the experience in afantastic location. Suggest double glazing to the rear or sister hotel Banana Backpackers which is a little more expensive but in a much quieter location just around the corner (stayed in both)

Very friendly staff, private bathrooms in each room, great location, easy to access public transport.
The water pressure of the shower could have been better.

excellent location, metro station at main lines intersection, room was adequate and warm for winter stay. comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 7.

Apple Backpackers is a great place! The staff really make you feel welcome. Its right in the center of Seoul, about 10 min walk from the palace. The rooms are so cheap, but really nice! Double beds and big screen T.vs. Also its right next to a supermarket and a subway station so it was really easy to get everything we needed. Such a great place if you want to explore Seoul. Will stay here again for sure!
No complaints! To be honest the whole experience was just great. Everyone was so nice :)
